Jamian Blackmon was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. He is the second of four children. His father was "not around" to be that role model that so many young men need. However, the love and support of his loving mother and devoted grandmother more than made up for it. As a kid could often be found hanging out at the movie theater - alone - studying actors of all sorts on the big screen. In school, he was known as the class clown and enjoyed making his friends laugh by reciting lines he'd devoted to memory from films and TV shows. In 2005 and 2006, Jamian was given the opportunity to appear as an extra in two films. By the end of 2006, he was smitten and knew he had to follow his dream of becoming the best actor he could possibly be. And in 2007, he relocated to NJ. That decision was a wise one: in less than a year received his first paid speaking role in a PSA seen throughout Philadelphia. By 2009, he was playing the lead in 2009's "Up in the Attic." He hasn't looked back since. Today, Jamian is still striving, still believing, still standing strong in preparation of his impending success. In the interim, he helps teen athletes improve their game (basketball) and, in summer, coaches an AAU team in Vineland, NJ. As an actor of film, television, commercials and web series, Jamian has also worked as a model for print ads.
This film is about the Chancelor family. The mother (Maggie) and her son (Cole) head off after saying goodbye to Cole's father only to have an accident near a country farm. They are found by a farmer called Lukas Walton who takes them to his farm and they are never seen by the father again. It's now 8 years later and the father gets a call from someone who claims to be his son Cole. So the father hires an ex detective to go back to the County where his family went missing. But the Detective finds that there's something more than just a missing persons case here. He also thinks that the local Sheriff (Doug Bradley) is keeping something from him. Lukas is raising Cole as his own son, and things escalate from there. But what has happened to the mother Maggie?
